The Catholic Social Teaching "Rights and Responsibilities" teaches us how the rights of humans are protected. Each and every human has a right to live their life and we also have a right to have the things that allow us to live a decent life. These things include shelter, food, education, health care, freedom of religion, ect. With these things come responsibilities. We all have responsibilities whether it's a family, school, or a daily job. To achieve a successful, healthy community, we must not only care for ourselves or our family, but also our community. When we all come together and care for one another the society we live in today becomes a better place!
“It is agreed that in our time the common good is chiefly guaranteed when personal rights and duties are maintained. The chief concern of civil authorities must therefore be to ensure that these rights are acknowledged, respected, coordinated with other rights, defended and promoted, so that in this way everyone may more easily carry out their duties. For 'to safeguard the inviolable rights of the human person, and to facilitate the fulfillment of each one's duties, should be the chief duty of every public authority.'”

You are right. Maybe, somrtimes, we don't think of anyone else. Im glad you brought this to our attention. We need to pay more attention to those who need it the most. Keep up the good work!
